The setting of this Ultra is the Hollands Duin nature reserve on the North Holland Coast. You can move endlessly between the dunes and on the beach. For this Hollands Duin Ultra we have created a challenging route of 50 km with a start and finish at Vrijstaat Nederzandt in Noordwijk.

Dutch Ultra Series

This is the 2nd Ultra of the Dutch Ultra Series. In the last weekend of every month we organize an Ultra that is part of these Series.

Dunes, beach, sand for 50km. The weather of the day determines whether this Ultra is simply heavy or extremely heavy.

50km Ultra

You run this challenging route using an GPX file. There are 3 aid stations along the way that will support you on this beautiful adventure. You will get a good idea of the diversity and gravity of this exceptional area.

Live Trail Tracking

All Ultra participants receive a Tracker, so everyone can follow them LIVE on a special website.

Practical information

This event has a beautiful starting location at Vrijstaat Nederzandt. We enjoy the hospitality of the catering industry and the start and finish is on the Nederzandt grounds.

There is a spacious parking lot in the dunes and this starting location is directly at the beach entrance. This route goes through the dunes and over the beach. The dunes have sand paths and the elevation meters make it extra challenging. The playful composition of the routes provides a lot of variety.

Vrijstaat Nederzandt is located on the beach, in the middle of the Hollands Duin nature reserve. The parking lot is a 200-meter walk away.
Vrijstaat Nederzandt is known for its hospitality and delicious menu.

Resupply after 17km, 29km, 40km, 45km and at the finish
Time limit: finish before 5:00PM
There are NO plastic cups available, so please provide your own cup/bottle. (It is possible to purchase a Trail Running Racecup from the race secretariat on the day of the event)
GPX file will be made available 3 days before the event
