    The Kempenland Trail

    It is very close to Belgium, but the Kempen is still located in Brabant. Beautiful routes across the heath, through the forest, along meandering streams, maybe they even cross the border for a bit?

    The Kempen has a rich history. Napoleon left his mark on the Cartierheide. The woods were the domain of smugglers, and peddlers walked along the sandy paths with their merchandise in a basket on their backs. This landscape is full of stories.

    At this Trail Event, there are 4 different distances to choose from. All routes take you through the Carierheide and give you a good idea of this unique area.

    If you want to actively explore this beautiful area, this is your chance. All participants can count on good care along the trails. For medal lovers, the Kempenland Trail also has its own unique Medal.

    Information

    The Kempen, a beautifully varied area. Our partner TerSpegelt is located on the edge of this area. All distances depart from the Natuurpoort Parking lot, directly into the woods.

    We take you along narrow paths through unique fens. Forests, heaths, and sandy tracks are just a few of the different nature settings that you will experience. With distances up to 30 km, this is a suitable challenge for many different trail running enthusiasts.

    Recreation park TerSpegelt

    Our partner is located in the middle of De Kempen. You can combine this event with a fun sporty weekend. There are many possibilities in the park itself and you can spend hours in the surrounding nature.

    You can choose from 7, 13, 21 or 30 km Trails, with the start and finish located directly at the edge of the forest. Every season has special colors and the area alternates between sand and mud paths. At the borders of the various forests you will find beautiful expanses of moorland. You can spend hours here without meeting anyone.

    The Kempenland Trail has Recreation Park TerSpegelt as a partner. The participants can enjoy the hospitality Brabant is known for. A beautiful location on the edge of nature.

    Participants have until 03:00 PM to finish.

    Before each starting moment, the participants receive an explanation about the details of the route by one of our crew members.

    • Route is fully indicated by arrows
    • Supply after 5km and at the finish
    • Time limit: Finish before 03:00 PM.
    • There are NO plastic cups available, so provide your own cup/bottle. (It is possible to purchase a reusable racecup at the race administration on the day of the event)

    • Start: 11:00-11:15 AM
    • Route is fully indicated by arrows
    • Supply after 5km, 11km and at the finish
    • Time limit: Finish before 03:00 PM.
      There are NO plastic cups available, so provide your own cup/bottle. (It is possible to purchase a reusable racecup at the race administration on the day of the event)

    • Start: 10:30-10:45 AM
    • Route is fully indicated by arrows
    • Supply after 6km, 15km, 20km and at the finish
    • Time limit: Finish before 04:00 PM.
    • There are NO plastic cups available, so provide your own cup/bottle. (It is possible to purchase a reusable racecup at the race administration on the day of the event)

    • Start: 10:00-10:30 AM
    • Route is partly indicated by arrows, you will partly navigate on GPX
    • Supply after 6km, 16km, 21km, 28km and at the finish
    • Time limit: Finish before 04:00 PM.
    • There are NO plastic cups available, so provide your own cup/bottle. (It is possible to purchase a reusable racecup at the race administration on the day of the event)
