The Stakenberg Trail
The routes of the Stakenberg Trail run across the beautiful heathlands of the North Veluwe between Elspeet, Vierhouten and Nunspeet, you will be surprised by the beautiful paths and views of this unique area.
Landgoed Stakenberg
We start and finish at the Stakenberg Estate, which is located in the middle of nature on the North side of the Veluwe. There is a choice of a 10km, 21km or a 34km trail route. Many single tracks, hills and heathland alternated with forest paths and sand fields.
We start and finish the Stakenberg Trail at our partner Landgoed Stakenberg.
The hotel of this estate is beautifully situated just 3.5 km outside Elspeet in a nature reserve, on the edge of the Veluwe. The hotel has been awarded a ‘Bib Hotel’ award by Michelin, which stands for good overnight accommodation at reasonable prices. The cozy hotel has a restaurant where you can enjoy a delicious lunch or dinner after your trail.

- There are NO plastic cups available, so please provide your own cup/bottle. It is possible to purchase a Trail Running Racecup from the competition secretariat on the day of the event.
