The Austerlitz Trail

The routes of the Austerlitz Trail run through the State Forests, up to the border with the nature reserve Bornia. If you know the Pyramid of Austerlitz, but have only been to that part of the area, .. you will be amazed by this beautiful piece of Dutch Nature.

The start and finish wil be at the KNVB Campus in Zeist, which is located in the middle of the woods.

Some gems are hidden, but are still included in the route. This Austerlitz trail will surprise you. This is the reason why trail runners keep returning to participate in this amazing trail.

Information

A varied trail with many single tracks, sand and forest paths in the woods around Austerlitz. Lots of challenging tracks in a beautiful and unique area located on the Utrechtse Heuvelrug.

KNVB Campus

We start and finish at the KNBV Campus, which is located in the middle of the state forests near Zeist. This trail starts on campus and all participants wil run directly into nature through opened gates. The participants of the 25-35 km distances run across the training fields through the woods of Austerlitz towards the White House.

All participants run the beautiful 15 km loop from the KNBV Campus towards the Traayweg around Austerlitz. Many single tracks, special paths with history and various plants. This is a special 15km loop of which we are once again very proud.

The KNVB Campus is our partner in the Austerlitz Trail. There is parking facility on site.

The KNBV Campus is beautifully situated in the middle of the vast Staatsbossen near Zeist.
