The Trail Events website
On the Trail Events Website , you’ll find a clear overview of all our events. Within the event for which you purchased tickets, you can easily manage everything yourself via your personal login.
The Trail Events App
Once you have installed the Trail Events App, you’ll always have everything you need at your fingertips. The App works similarly to the website but is optimized for mobile use. Some changes can only be made via the website, which keeps the App clear and user-friendly.
With the Trail Events App, you always have your tickets at hand! Download the app in the Appstore or Google Play Store.
- Open the Trail Events App and go to the event for which you have tickets.
- Tap the three horizontal lines in the top left corner to expand the event menu.
- Tap “LOG IN” if you are not already logged in. Then log in with the email address you used to purchase your tickets. You’ll receive a one-time password (OTP) by email that grants access to your account, so no password is needed. Once logged in, the menu will look different.
- Tap “Your tickets” (je tickets), below your name. Your tickets will appear. Keep your ticket ready when you check in at the race office on the day of the event.
If you can no longer participate in the event, you can cancel your registration yourself. Please note: this can only be done on a computer.
- Go to trail-events.eu and click on the event for which you have a ticket.
- Click “LOG IN” in the top right corner and log in with the email address you used to purchase your ticket.
- Check your inbox and click the link in the email. You’ll be redirected to the event page, now logged in.
- To cancel your ticket, click on your profile picture in the top right corner (or, if you haven’t set one, the circle with your initials). Then click “Your tickets” (Je tickets).
- Just like in the app, your ticket will appear. To cancel it, click “Your Order’ (Je order) in the top right corner.
- An overview of your order will appear. At the top right of this overview, you’ll see “Edit” (bewerk) with a dropdown menu. In this menu, select “Cancel order” (annuleer order).
- Enter your reason for cancellation and select the tickets you wish to cancel. Then click “CANCEL ORDER” (Annuleer order). You will receive a confirmation email within minutes.
If you cancel your tickets up to 30 days before the event, you will receive a 100% refund of the purchase amount within 5–10 business days, refunded to the account used for payment (applies to events in 2025).
If you want to cancel your ticket within 30 days before the event, we recommend transferring it to another runner who can participate, so the ticket doesn’t go to waste. There may also be other reasons to change the name on a ticket—the process is the same.
You can transfer a ticket to another name easily via the Trail Events App of via de Trail Events website.
- Go to your ticket as described above
- Tap the pencil icon above the ticket
- A window will open where you can edit the ticket details. Tap ”Save” (bewaar). I you changed the email address, the new participant will automatically receive an email with their ticket details.
If, for any reason, you’d like to run a different distance, that’s no problem. You can do this yourself if the event is more than 30 days away. You can also wait until the event day and arrange it with us at the race office.
Important: Longer distances start earlier than shorter ones. Check the event website (the same page where you purchased your tickets) to confirm the start time of your new distance.
Switching to a longer distance
Want to go longer? Great! We’ll ask you to pay the price difference on-site on the day of the event. We’ll then provide you with the correct bib number so you can start without any issues.
Switching to a shorter distance
Prefer to run a shorter distance? No problem. Let the race office know on event day, and we’ll give you the correct bib number. Please note: within 30 days before the event (including event day), we cannot issue refunds. For more details about refunds, check the terms and conditions of your order.
Managing it yourself
Only possible if the event is more than 30 days away.
If the event is still more than 30 days away, you can manage this yourself by canceling your current ticket and then purchasing a new one. The refund for your canceled ticket will be processed within 5–10 business days to the account used for payment. See the section “How do I cancel my participation?” for instructions.
